Solar Dark Energy

Solar Dark Energy Explorer on Your Desktop

In cosmology, dark energy is a hypothetical form of energy whichpermeates all of space and has strong negative pressure. According tothe theory of relativity, the effect of such a negative pressure isqualitatively similar to a force acting in opposition to gravity atlarge scales. Invoking such an effect is currently the most popularmethod for explaining recent observations that the universe appears tobe expanding at an accelerating rate, as well as accounting for asignificant portion of the missing mass in the universe.

Two proposed forms for dark energy are the cosmological constant, aconstant energy density filling space homogeneously, and quintessence,a dynamic field whose energy density can vary in time and space.Distinguishing between the alternatives requires high-precisionmeasurements of the expansion of the universe to understand how thespeed of the expansion changes over time. The rate of expansion isparameterized by the cosmological equation of state. Measuring theequation of state of dark energy is one of the biggest efforts inobservational cosmology today.
Adding a cosmological constant to the standard theory of cosmology(i.e. the FLRW metric) has led to a model for cosmology known as theLambda-CDM model. This model agrees closely with establishedcosmological observations.

As NASA reports indicate, 70 percent or more of the universe consistsof dark energy, about which we know next to nothing.

At the beginning of March, 2006 the satellite of China National SpaceAdministration, DARKSTAR started operations, observing in neutrino thesolar corona.
It results a sensational information that our system also containsdark energy. This substance is located within the solar surface.

More info about Chinese DARKSTAR project is here:http://www.cnsa.gov.cn/zhbd/show.asp?id=2514760

Dark Solar System is a new 3d screensaver for Windows. Thisscreensaver shows all planets of our solar system, uncluding Saturn'srings. It makes you able to know about dark matter and dark energy inour planet system.

We have placed above cosmological information into our screensaver and youcan view allocation of dark matter in our Solar system!
