The ONA and USC Annenberg School for Communication are pleased to
announce the finalists in the 2006 Online Journalism Awards. You can
find the complete list of finalists on our website at

The awards will be presented at the 2006 Online News Association
Conference and Online Journalism Awards Banquet, in Washington DC,
October 6-7. This is a good time to remind you all, especially you
finalists, it's important that you book your hotel room before this
Monday, Sept. 8. That's the last day the special rate of $186 a night
will apply for the conference. After that it will cost a great deal
more to stay at the conference hotel.

Register for the 2006 ONA conference by September 1 to receive the
discounted early bird rate. And remember, the hotel room needs to be
